New York Metropolitan Association of Applied Psychology
The constructed response assessment (CRA) program connects state-of-the-art practices across personnel selection, assessment development, machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP) to overcome historical challenges in scaling CRA to high-volume selection applications due to its reliance on human scoring. The first CRA went live with candidates in January 2022, after two years of foundational research and technical development, predicting likelihood of job success for tens of thousands of candidates. This talk will cover Amazon's CRA initial development and validation efforts, practical and scientific barriers, and recent developments.
