What Counterterrorism Research Can Tell Us About the Future of Our Field

One path forward to establishing applied psychologists as a unique, robust, and future-oriented domain of study is expanding our typical view of organizations that we consider as central to what we study and support. I draw on my more traditional path as a faculty member in a top-ranked I-O Psychology program to a national research center where I apply knowledge of our field to the disruption of extremist organizations as well as to support the homeland security workforce.
