Welcome Back Metro Insight Exchange: Building Relationships Networking Activity
We are excited to kick off this year’s theme of Genuine Connection with our first in-person event at NYU: a Speed Networking Session designed to help you meet and get to know fellow members in a fast-paced, engaging, and fun way! Our Metro President Dr. Lily Blocker will guide you in an opportunity to have brief, one-on-one conversations with a range of members—giving you the chance to meet new colleagues, learn about their backgrounds, and discover shared interests in a short amount of time.
You’ll rotate through a series of structured mini-meetings, where you’ll introduce yourself, discuss your work, and exchange insights with another participant before moving to the next connection. Whether you're new to the organization or a long-time member, this format ensures you meet many people in a short period of time, making it easy to form authentic relationships from the start.
Why Attend:
- Expand Your Network: Meet fellow professionals working in various sectors (consulting, academia, corporate, government, etc.).
- Exchange Ideas: Share your thoughts and experiences in a dynamic, collaborative setting.
- Foster Genuine Connections: This is a great way to lay the foundation for meaningful, long-term relationships with colleagues who share your passion for advancing the field.
Whether you’re looking to collaborate or simply make new friends within our community, this event will be an exciting way to dive right into authentic connections with your fellow members. Come prepared to share a bit about yourself and your professional journey.
