INSPIRE: The Universal Path for Leading Yourself and Others

Based on thousands of interviews and surveys from across the globe, renowned social scientist and leadership expert Adam Galinsky has discovered the scientific essence of what it means to inspire others. His analyses have produced three novel insights about leadership, and about human nature more broadly. The first key insight is that inspiring and infuriating leaders exist on an enduring continuum that is made up of three universal factors: Visionary, Exemplar, and Mentor. The exact same characteristics emerge in every culture and country across the globe. The second insight is that we are NOT born as inspiring or infuriating individuals. Rather, it is our current behavior that either inspires or infuriates. Because there is a universal and systematic set of inspiring attributes, those skills can be taught, they can be nurtured, and they can be developed. The third insight is that we can, with just a little effort, redesign our lives to be more inspiring. Adam will take you on a captivating journey into the science of inspiration that will not only make you a more effective leader, but a better spouse, a more motivating parent, and a more dependable friend.
